Who is responsible

Kiddlr is run by Sanjay Kumar S Melsakri, an individual based in Bengaluru, India. Kiddlr is not a registered company.

Everything on this page is handled by one person. The address is kiddlrinc@gmail.com and it reaches that person directly.

What is collected

Only four things, and only when you give them:

• Your email address, when you ask for the book or make an account.
• Your child's age, as a single year.
• The answers you give to the eleven questions.
• The profile those answers produce.

Information about a child comes from the parent

Nothing is ever collected from a child. The age and the answers are given by an adult, about a child, and the questions are written to be answered by somebody who already knows the child well.

What is never collected

There is no field for any of the following, anywhere in the database or in the browser:

• A name or nickname for your child.
• A photograph.
• A gender.
• Any free text describing your child.

Why each thing is kept

• The email address, to send the book and occasional updates, and to let you back into an account.
• The age, because the questions are worded differently for a younger and an older child.
• The answers, because the profile is built from them.
• The profile, so you can come back to it later.

Where it is kept

Four services, and no others:

• Supabase, in Mumbai, India, which holds the database. Region ap-south-1.
• Resend, which sends the email.
• Netlify, which serves the website.
• Google Drive, which holds the book file behind an unlisted link.

Nothing is sent to an artificial intelligence service

No part of a profile is written by a model. Every word you read about a child was written in advance by a person and is served exactly as written. Your answers are never sent anywhere to be processed by one.

Cookies and what your browser keeps

There is no advertising cookie, no tracking cookie, and no analytics on this site today.

One cookie is set, and only after you sign in, so that you stay signed in. If you never sign in, none is set.

The visit checklist remembers which items you have ticked. That is kept in your own browser and never reaches us.

How long it is kept

A profile link stops working thirty days after it is made. To be exact about it, the link stops working and the information behind it stays in the database until you ask for it to be deleted.

• Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be deleted.
• A profile attached to an account is kept until you ask for it to be deleted.

What you can ask for

You can ask to see what is held about you. You can ask for it to be corrected. You can ask for it to be deleted. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and unsubscribing is one way of doing that.

This is a description of what will be done. It is not a claim to comply with any particular law.

Unsubscribing

Every email carries an unsubscribe link. One click, a single button, and it is done. No sign-in and no reason needed.

Unsubscribing stops the email. It does not by itself delete anything already saved, so if you want the address removed as well, say so in a message to kiddlrinc@gmail.com.

If this page changes

The date at the top changes with it. There is no archive of older versions, so that date is the only claim made about which version you are reading.
